M.S.Shiva draws on over 50 years of professional experience as an Artist and Educator. He specialises in portraiture, figurative and wildlife paintings, and displays similar aptitude in other subjects like – abstraction, landscape, and architecture. His preferred mediums are oil, watercolour and ink, and draws different qualities from each medium to capture the essence of his subject with boldness and sensitivity. Shiva’s artistic achievements include numerous awards in state and national exhibitions including the ‘Kala Bhushan’ and ‘Kalashri’. As an Art educationalist, he has made unique contribution in promoting child art.  His art works are held in public and private collections in India, Singapore, Australia, United Kingdom and United States.
